Joanie thrives on challenges and discovering new solutions. With a passion for learning, she seeks out opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. After graduating from The University of Texas, Joanie began her career in real estate and worked her way up to Relocation Director and Vice President of Marketing for a local real estate firm. She led the company’s public relations and communications initiatives and developed recruiting, marketing and employee engagement plans.

Joanie is thrilled to be with Urbanspace to help share the company’s enthusiasm and vision for life in Austin’s urban core. She has a passion for storytelling and finding magic in everyday life. A member of Writers’ League of Texas and Texas Exes, she and her family love Longhorn game day, taking in shows at the Paramount and Zach Scott, and nights out at one of the city’s many premier restaurants.
