Born and raised in the Bay Area, Alexa attended Columbia University and graduated in 2009 with a B.F.A. in Film and Television Directing/ Production Design. During her 10 year career as a Production Designer, Alexa had the opportunity to design both the sets and entire look and feel of feature films and commercials in Los Angeles, California. She has worked on over 40 feature films for Lifestyle, SyFy, Hallmark, BET, ION, and Netflix with actors such as Chevy Chase, Christopher Lloyd, Vivica A. Fox, Crispin Glover, Sean Astin, and more.

With a love for storytelling, Alexa loves being able to use objects to bring a room to life. She especially enjoys helping clients create their own stories and bring new dimensions to their homes with special pieces from the lines Urbanspace carries.

Alexa’s favorite thing about Austin are the people. Sharing a tight bond with her family, Alexa enjoys living in Austin where her mom, grandmother, brother, and sister are. During her free time, she enjoys hiking and photography, as well as spending time with her family.
